Die intelligente und kreative Falttechnik der schottischen Designer Trent Jennings und Tom Marsh ergibt eine verblüffende Formsprache. BLOOM wird aus recyceltem Kunststoff in Großbritannien hergestellt und ist in wieder verwendetem Material verpackt. Die Leuchte wurde 2006 als bestes Ökoprodukt von der englischen Design-Messe TOP DRAWER ausgezeichnet. Farbe: weiß Sie hat einen Durchmesser von 53 cm und ist besonders geeignet für den Betrieb mit Sparbirnen.

Ich finde den Lampenschirm sehr schön. Er wird nicht gefaltet geliefert. Er besteht aus 5 Teilen, die nach dem Falten zusammengesteckt werden.
Die zu faltende Blätter sind aus einem etwas festeren Kunststoff gemacht worden, lassen sich aber bequem zurechtbiegen.
Die Falteinleitung für die einzelnen Teile fand ich nicht ganz eindeutig, sodass ich schon einige Minuten und etwas Geduld aufbringen mußte.
Das Resultat war aber um so schöner. Der Schirm presentiert sich sehr schön und gibt ein schönes leicht gedämpftes Licht ab.
